Quality and Innovation of Corundum Wear-resistant Plastic

Corundum wear-resistant plastic is suitable for circulating fluidized bed boiler cyclone, furnace wall lining, and parts with severe impact and wear of coal ash. The application scope of corundum wear-resistant plastic is as follows:

(1) First, mix the materials (the ratio is about 4.5kg per package of binder), and mix them evenly with a mixer. (Remember that small packets of additives cannot be put into stuffing) (2) Stir well, stuff (sealed) for 48 hours. (3) Before use, put each pack of stuffy materials into one small pack of additives and stir, and add a little binder when stirring, so as to facilitate the construction. (4) Before construction, clean the working surface of the equipment, lay the mixed plastic on the required part as required, and then ramming with a wooden hammer or leather hammer. The ramming must be even and strong, and the construction can be plastic The surface is required to be flat and smooth, avoid pitting and unevenness, and maintain it naturally under ventilation.

Corundum wear-resistant plastics are semi-hard plastics. When the plasticity index is less than 15%, the normal ramming will be broken. The result is uneven ramming and not strong; when the plasticity index is greater than 40%, ramming Collapse will occur, which will affect the shape retention of the corundum wear-resistant plastic. The composition of corundum wear-resistant plastic is similar to other unshaped refractory materials. It is also composed of refractory aggregates, certain powders, plus binders and additives, and anti-shrinking agents and antifreeze agents can be added as needed.

Corundum wear-resistant plastic is mainly made of corundum as aggregate, which is constructed by tamping method and has certain plasticity. In the American standard, it is stipulated that the plasticity index measuring instrument is used to measure. After the external force is applied, the deformation index greater than 15% is called plastic, and the deformation index less than 15% is ramming material; while the Chinese standard stipulates that the deformation index is 15%-40% Is called plastic. Although the two standards are slightly different, we can generally see the difference between plastics and ramming materials. See more: https://www.highaluminarefractory.com/.
